Leave a Message of Love – Month of Love 2014, Darling Harbour

To coincide with the demolition of the Sydney Convention Centre and in partnership with Darling Harbour Live, visitors were encouraged to leave a ‘message of love”. 48,000 messages made their way onto 400m + of hoarding within 24 hours. The response from the public was electrifying and due to popular demand and a sense of pride and ownership, the messages remained in-situ for a period of weeks. This participatory activation heralded a positive start for the ICC Sydney redevelopment.
